Luc Janin Joins SKUNK London

SKUNK is thrilled to announce their new signing in the form of talented Luc Janin who joins for transatlantic representation. 

Luc is a director of commercials, music videos and content but first and foremost he is an artist. He spent his youth illegally decorating the streets of Paris with edgy graffiti pieces gathering a cult following in the process, and after many (too many) hours of community service he enrolled himself at the prestigious art school Penninghen (ESAG). There he studied graphic design and illustration, whilst simultaneously working on specially commissioned street art for brands. 

Luc enjoys working with both still and moving image, one heavily influencing the other. Key to his style is a combination of meticulously crafted post-production and in-camera techniques with raw live-action to create technical yet authentic films.

An award-winning director, his work across motion graphics, music videos and commercials has seen him collaborate with major international brands including MTV, BBC, Pepsi, Adidas, Nike, Lacoste, Guinness, Volkswagen and Nissan. 

Luc is currently developing a sequel to ‘The Luckiest Man in the World’, which is a short film he made in 2015. The film follows Luc’s friend Chad, who has incurable brain cancer, as Chad jogs to the hospital for his 4th round of brain surgery. It’s an uplifting and heavy-hitting piece. The aim of the sequel film is to raise awareness of the App “Cure My Day” that Chad has created that connects ‘Cancerful’ people with folk who want to help with everyday errands. It’s a truly inspirational project, and is due for release to the App store later in the year.
