Globally renowned contemporary Italian sculptor artist, Lorenzo Quinn, has shown his solidarity to Ukrainians at the hands of Russian aggression with the drop of his first collection of NTFs. The first 100 NFTs titled ‘Support Ukraine, Stop the war,’ have gone on sale via digital art market SuperRare with 100% of the profits going to charity.
The collection, which includes 1,000 unique pieces of digital art, will be available to purchase for 0,24 ETH per NFT. Each NFT represents the value of the individual contributions made to fight for peace via unique dust particles, adding to the collections rarity.
According to the current ETH rate, Quinn aims to raise over half a million pounds to support the people of Ukraine and upon the finalisation, funds from the collection sale will be shared equally between The Ukrainian Red Cross Society, Nova Ukraine and Sunflower of Peace.
Lorenzo Quinn comments: “Innocent people always pay the heaviest price for war. I feel deeply saddened by the invasion of Ukraine and as an artist, it is all I can do to channel my sadness and show my support via art. Making these unique pieces available to purchase as NFTs is my way of quickly raising funds to help the people of Ukraine and convey my authentic emotion, love & support.”
