London International Awards announces that Susan Credle, global chair and global chief creative officer of FCB Worldwide will replace Swati Bhattacharya as jury president for the Non-Traditional competition as in Susan’s words “Swati took a wrong step on a step so Susan is stepping in”.
Susan is a creative powerhouse with a strong moral compass that drives her quest to infuse the industry with diversity. She is known for her work establishing the M&M’S 'spokescandies' as icons in global pop culture. Upon arriving at FCB in 2016, she reignited the network by pushing to create the agency’s best work on the biggest brands.
On chairing LIA 2023 Susan commented, “The conversations around non-traditional work are always incredibly stimulating. This work should show us new ways to think about how we approach advertising and marketing. Can a film be non-traditional? If it makes us think differently about the traditional media of film, I think so. I am honoured to be stepping in for Swati Bhattacharya from our India office, who is recovering from a fall. Much of Swati’s work exemplifies beautiful, non-traditional ideas. I will keep her spirit in mind as we search for the best in this category.”
Barbara Levy, president of LIA commented, “We were very excited that Swati Bhattacharya, had accepted our invitation to judge LIA 2023. It is unfortunate that one misstep had to change this course, we are fortunate that Susan was able to free her schedule for us and will now chair the Non-Traditional jury. I am eager to see the final results of what I know will be intense deliberations.”
