Little Big Brands Launches Rebrand for Buitoni Food Company

Little Big Brands (LBB), an award-winning independent branding and design agency has launched its latest rebrand for the beloved maker of Italian inspired foods, Buitoni Food Company.

With covid forcing consumers to eat at home, there was a surge in growth in the refrigerated pasta industry, as well as an increase in competition. Due to this, Buitoni decided it was time to reignite the brand without losing its decades of rich history with a redesign that was reflective of their new positioning - Buitoni, a fresh way to think about dinner - and LBB was perfect for the job. 

The redesign allowed the team to rework the communication hierarchy to enhance the branding and drive flavour appeal with custom-shot product and ingredient photography to be a focus, rather than competing marketing messages. The design was crafted in a way to preserve as much clear space as possible, to allow consumers to see the product in the package. 

“Overall, Little Big Brand’s redesign was able to simplify, modernise, and increase appetite appeal, while staying true to our legacy and values,” Jim Gerbo, chief marketing officer at Buitoni Food Company shared.
