Ogilvy & Mather today announced for the third
consecutive year that the agency has been named to LinkedIn’s “The World's 100
Most InDemand Employers” list. As the 25th most sought after employer, O&M
is the first and only advertising agency ever ranked in the top 25.
LinkedIn, considered the world’s largest professional network,
announced the rankings at their 2014 Talent Connect conference Tuesday,
October, 21 in San Francisco. Ogilvy & Mather’s ranking as the 25th most
InDemand employer globally, follows recognition earlier this year by LinkedIn
as the 35th most InDemand employer in North America.
“Attracting
top talent is the lifeblood of our business and one of the most important
factors in driving growth and keeping Ogilvy’s culture strong,” said Lauren
Crampsie, Worldwide Chief Marketing Officer, Ogilvy & Mather. “It is a huge
accomplishment to be in the company of some of the world’s most respected and
thriving companies and we are proud to be named an “InDemand” employer by
LinkedIn.”
The
agency’s previous recognitions by LinkedIn include ranking 26th globally in
2013, as well as 9th on "New York City’s 20 Most InDemand Employers"
list that same year. In 2012, the agency was ranked 18th globally.
“I am thrilled that our collective efforts to expand our employment
brand around the world are being recognized by this important workplace
leader,” said Jean-Rene Zetrenne, Chief Talent Officer, Ogilvy & Mather
North America. “The Talent Management team continues its commitment to improve
our score and deliver on our mission of finding, growing and keeping the
world's best talent.”
The
InDemand rankings measure talent and brand strength. LinkedIn calculated their
third annual ranking, based on the analysis over 35 billion interactions
between companies and members on LinkedIn. The data looks at LinkedIn member
awareness of a company and engagement via LinkedIn. The analysis weighted
member actions such as viewing employee profiles, visiting Company pages and
following companies. The companies on the list represent 17 countries, 59
cities, and 33 industries.
With a network of more than 500 offices in 126 countries and over 25,000 employees, Ogilvy & Mather is one of the largest marketing communications agencies in the world.
