LIA Announces the 2025 Ambient & Activation; Billboard; Poster and Print Jury

Chaka Sobhani, president and global chief creative officer of DDB Worldwide will chair the LIA 2025 Ambient & Activation; Billboard; Poster and Print Jury

Top industry creatives will convene onsite at Encore @ Wynn, Las Vegas to judge LIA’s 2025 Ambient & Activation, Billboard, Poster and Print competitions. These judging sessions, which celebrate the 40th anniversary of LIA, will commence on 25th September through 3rd October. Winners will set the standard to inspire creativity for years to come.

The jurors are looking forward to gathering in Las Vegas to begin judging. There is no offsite pre-judging. Jury chair, Chaka Sobhani, president and global CCO of DDB Worldwide, has expressed her enthusiasm in leading the jury. Chaka is a well-respected creative champion who was named Campaign’s Creative Leader and has been featured in their Top 10 Creative Leaders consistently for the past five years, as well as Adweek’s Creative 100.

Chaka said, “I’m incredibly honoured and excited to be chair of the Ambient & Activation, Billboard, Poster and Print Jury. These categories show the power of ideas that exist firmly IRL and the importance of that tactility both for brands and audiences alike.

Most of all, I’m looking forward to being in the company of some of the world's most brilliant creative leaders and practitioners, getting stuck into some meaty debates around the work and ultimately seeing ideas we are all jealous of for all the right reasons.”

There is absolute integrity and transparency in the judging rooms, as all rooms are open to the press, creative excellence managers and young creatives who are part of the 2025 Creative LIAisons cohort. Allowing young creatives to sit in the judging rooms as the final and in-depth debates happen is one of the best ways for up-and-coming talent to learn from creative giants.

It is from these outstanding creative pieces that the industry gets inspired and standards are elevated. Good work today paves the way for better work tomorrow. This is the jury that will weed out the mediocre and elevate the excellent,” commented Barbara Levy, president of LIA.
