At the conclusion of Campaign Asia’s Agency of the Year Awards Gala Dinner last week at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Singapore, Leo Burnett was named Southeast Asia Creative Agency of the Year. In total, Leo Burnett Asia Pacific agencies collected a total of 23 nominations which converted to 17 recognitions including 13 Gold, 1 Winner (People category), 1 Silver, 2 Bronze awards. The stellar set of results placed the network as a close runner-up to the evening’s top accolade of Network of the Year.
The wins were representable by Leo Burnett Asia Pacific’s offices across the Australia/New Zealand, South Asia, Japan/Korea and Southeast Asia sub-regions.
Joy Santos, Head of Strategy at Leo Burnett Manila took home the top award for the Southeast Asia Strategic/Brand Planner of the Year.
Leo Burnett Australia was crowned Australia / New Zealand sub regional winners across the Creative and Digital Agency of the Year categories while Leo Burnett/Arc Worldwide Malaysia brought home the top prizes in the categories of Southeast Asia Specialist Agency of the Year as well as Southeast Asia PR agency of the Year.
Leo Burnett’s affiliate agency partner in New Zealand, Barnes, Catmur & Friends was also recognised with a silver award in the Australia/New Zealand Independent Agency of the Year category.
