Kraken Rum Tells a Bold and Adventurous ’Tale of Gold’ Spot produced by Moirai Films

MOIRAI Films, a new and dynamic production company, announces the release of its latest commercial for Kraken Rum - ‘Tale of Gold’. Directed by the multi-award winning filmmaker Rich Lee and produced by Vanessa Lanci, the commercial from Mekanism showcases the bold and adventurous spirit of the brand in a unique and visually stunning way.

Kraken Rum is known for its rich and complex spiced flavour, as well as its association with the legendary sea creature, the Kraken. MOIRAI Films and Rich Lee have captured this essence in their latest production, bringing to life the mysterious and fascinating world of the Kraken through stunning cinematography by Christopher Probst, ASC and captivating storytelling.

The commercial opens on a lighthouse during a dark and stormy night, with a traveller and lighthouse keeper telling the tale of a gang of pirates and rum peddlers who are out to steal the gold spiced rum which is hidden deep within the Kraken’s keep. But when the beast discovers a plot to steal its treasure, its massive and menacing tentacles emerge…

The commercial marks the official launch for MOIRAI, a new production company founded by Andrew Porteous and Vanessa Lanci. Moirai Films has already won a string of acclaims and awards this past year and as you see with Kraken, they continue to push the boundaries of visual storytelling, creating bold and innovative content.
