Journey Through 6 Iconic Eras of French History with Renault

Mamma team shares the results of its latest production with Quad Productions, RENAULT - R5VOLUTION is a French thing. The ambitious project took the team on a journey through six iconic eras of French history, from the French Revolution to the rise of Parisian fashion, the birth of photography, the Nouvelle Vague, the vibrant electronic DJ scene, and the legendary Moulin Rouge.

The art team had three weeks to prepare, and production had two weeks to pull off the challenge of recreating Paris right in the heart of Madrid. Finding the perfect locations, dressing actors and extras in historically accurate costumes, and collaborating with FX experts to make it all look like a living painting or photograph in post-production was no small feat. 

With drones, Steady Cams, U-Crane arms, and more, the technical side of the shoot was equally impressive. Mamma Team is proud of the result and excited to have transported you to Paris for a moment. And yes, the team had a blast playing with smoke machines and giant fans to shower the set with confetti in the colours of France.
