Boldly has introduced the film ‘TIM’, their latest in partnership with Arc’teryx Presents. The team feel honoured to have been involved in bringing this project to reality. Sometimes it takes a village and sometimes it takes an incredible ski community. The tea at Boldly wishes to extend a huge thank you to everyone who made the film possible; most of all, Tim Sackbauer, who continues to inspire everyone.
Tim, navigating life with Down syndrome, carves his own path with courage and heart. With his family by his side, a tight-knit crew with skiing in their DNA, he finds a space for expression, solace, and the freedom to experience life on his own terms.
Director Jordan Findlay said, "Tim’s perspectives on family, skiing, and community are incredibly insightful. I think that the world can learn a lot by the hard work he has done to challenge people’s preconceived notions of others. His tenacity, friendship, and dedication have constantly broken through any barriers put in his way. Having the opportunity to meet Tim and work together with him on this film was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life and I’m excited for the world to get the chance to know him."
Producer Angelica Stirpe shared, “There are so many people to thank! To the amazing team at Arc’teryx for your trust and collaboration, and to our director Jordan for his thoughtful vision and unwavering integrity in ensuring Tim’s story was told authentically. To the entire Sackbauer family for welcoming us into your lives and to the mountain communities who supported us through it all. And of course, thank you most of all to TIM!”
The film’s online release follows a successful global theatrical run in cities including Oslo, Milan, Zurich, San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, and Vancouver as part of the Arc’teryx Winter Tour. It is also generating attention in the advertising industry, nominated for the 1.4 Awards as part of the longlist in their Best Branded Film category. The winners will be announced on May 7, 2025 at the 1.4 Awards Show at London's Barbican Cinema and Conservatory.
