One at Optimus, the production arm of leading production and post house Optimus, today announced that it has hired Jonah Mueller as senior producer. Mueller has been freelancing for ONE as a line producer and bidder for the past year. His invaluable contributions during that time earned him this new role.
“As we continue to expand and elevate ONE, we are so excited to welcome Jonah to our team,” commented One at Optimus EP/Managing Director Lisa Masseur. “Jonah and I have worked together in previous positions for over a decade, and he consistently has impressed me with his ability to work with directors both on a project level and on the bigger picture. Jonah is an excellent problem-solver, and works with the entire project in mind.”
After a series of ad agency internships, Mueller cut his teeth as an assistant account executive at Laughlin Constable in Chicago. From there, he went to Radar Studios as a PA and worked his way up as a producer under the team that included Masseur. After the past year working as a freelancer, Mueller is excited to begin a new chapter with ONE.
“I am so excited to join One at Optimus full-time under the leadership of Lisa and Executive Producer Sarah Wien,” said Mueller. “They have thoughtfully and effectively grown ONE’s footprint and reputation in the market by adding remarkable talent to the roster and bringing in bigger and better work. I am thrilled to be part of a company that is moving forward so quickly.”
Mueller has worked with brands including The Chicago Bulls, Crystal Light, Fifth Third Bank, Johnsonville, McDonald’s, Motorola, Nintendo, Perkins Restaurants, Samsung, and others. Besides producing commercials and content, Jonah produced a feature documentary, “Sign Painters,” as well as many music videos. He has shot around the U.S. and internationally in Canada, France, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Russia, and Lebanon.
