Framestore today announced a key management move within its US-based network. James Razzall, currently Executive Producer and Head of Sales, will become Senior Executive Producer, an umbrella-role over North American sales. In this new role, Razzall will lead day-to-day management of the Los Angeles arm and spearhead the development and new phase of the recently launched territory, while continuing to oversee his team in New York.
The move comes at a time when the company's momentum cannot be ignored, and is a way of expanding and keeping the same Framestore philosophy and spreading the Framestore way of life across the company's impressive network.
Jon Collins, Framestore's President of Integrated Advertising Worldwide, had this to say: "We're entering into a new phase with our LA office and it's absolutely essential that we have the ideal team in place moving forward. Razzall has enough momentum in New York to bridge the gap to LA and will be instrumental in reinforcing the global nature of the company and bringing together our three advertising offices."
James Razzall added: "Working with the team at Framestore has been an absolute privilege and a creative challenge that has shaped not just my professional life but also my personal. I'm very humbled to have this opportunity in Los Angeles and I look forward to working with the terrific talents we have on our roster and expanding Framestore's already longstanding foothold within Oscar-winning territory."
Razzall's progression within Framestore has been very impressive. He's been a part of the Framestore family for over 12 years overseeing day-to-day client communications and was an instrumental member of the team behind the creation of the Geico Gecko - a project the company is world-renowned for.
As Executive Producer, Razzall's main focus is driving sales for the US Commercials division. Along with the other members of the Leadership team, he has helped the US side of the company become a formidable creative force, the goal being to bring Oscar-winning images to any platform.
