Music supervisor Jack Derbyshire has launched new music agency YOUTH MODE.
YOUTH MODE will primarily operate as a music supervision agency, but other facets include a DJ and playlist curation service for product launches, parties and exhibitions, as well as conducting interviews with cultural influencers within the creative world.
Launched by Jack Derbyshire, who plied his trade as a music supervisor for De Wolfe Music for four and a half years, Jack began exploiting a gap in the market for music within the fashion realm a couple of years ago. Derbyshire quickly forged relationships within the fashion world and began music supervising global campaigns, marrying historic and institutional brands such as Prada, Louis Vuitton, and Vogue with dynamic and innovative artists such as Arca, Run The Jewels, and Hudson Mohawke to name a few, and working alongside notable directors Ujin Lin, Craig McDean and Karim Sadli in the process.
It is a continuation of this work which Derbyshire says provides the blueprint for YOUTH MODE.
Derbyshire comments: “YOUTH MODE is about embracing the now and engaging with the modern-day, being adaptable to achieve the best possible outcome. I look forward to building upon existing relationships, as well as collaborating with new people and developing fresh ideas”.
