Subsonica, Italy’s number one rock band, has today launched a Google+ campaign giving people the chance to feature in their 2014 tour.
Using Google’s GIF maker tool Google+ Motion, the campaign offers fans the opportunity to create GIFS to adorn their musical idols’ bespoke jackets as they perform on stage.
For the first time in Italy, fans can get incredibly close to their favourite band and make them express how the music makes them feel through Google+ Motion. All users need to do is create and share a GIF on Google+ that shows what Sunday means to them “Di Domenica” (the band’s latest hit) for a chance to see their GIFs on Subsonica’s digital jackets throughout their live tour. The winning GIFs will be projected from every jacket on each member of the band, every time the band performs ‘Di Domenica’, with the winners also receiving tickets to the live shows from 31st Oct to 1st Dec, 2014.
Devised and created by global digital agency Isobar, the ‘Incredibly Close’ campaign will be supported with YouTube Videos, pre rolls and a social outreach programme across Italy. The campaign is produced in partnership with Subsonica, Google+ and the wearable tech fashion house, CuteCircuit in London.
Isobar Creative Director, Nick Craske said; “’Incredibly Close’ is an innovative campaign that shows how new fashion and music can combine with Google technology to bring the music fan experience into the 21st century.”
