IPA Honours 36 Agencies with CPD Gold for Excellence in Learning and Development

Record-breaking results highlight CPD’s business impact, as top agencies deliver higher retention, ROI, and employee wellbeing in 2024

The IPA is celebrating the 36 agencies that have achieved CPD Gold Accreditation for their outstanding professional development programmes, and investment in the professional development and wellbeing of their employees throughout 2024.

CPD Gold agencies continue to prove that investment in learning and development is a business imperative, with some outstanding examples of CPD culture, innovation and effectiveness. On average, the CPD Gold agencies earned £6.50 return on every £1 invested in learning and development in 2024, retained 94% of clients, and saved £297,944 on recruitment costs with an average voluntary staff turnover of 14%. This compares to an industry-wide turnover figure of 21.2% reported in the 2024 IPA Agency Census.

Assembly and Drummond Central have achieved CPD Gold for the first time.

Twenty-six agencies also achieved CPD Platinum Accreditation for sustained CPD excellence, by earning CPD Gold at least four times over a five-year period.
