Interpublic and AI Commerce Pioneer Yaniv Sarig Double Down on Agentic Commerce

In a move that underscores its growing investment in AI-driven commerce, Interpublic has appointed Yaniv Sarig as global head of AI commerce. The move marks a strategic effort to scale the company’s systematic commerce capabilities and better position its clients for success in today’s rapidly evolving omni-channel landscape.

Yaniv, a seasoned entrepreneur and pioneer in AI-powered commerce, moves into the role after working with Interpublic in a consulting capacity and will continue reporting to the company’s global chief commerce strategy officer, Jeriad Zoghby. In his expanded role, Yaniv will lead the development of agentic commerce solutions across the Interpublic portfolio, integrate newly acquired data assets from Intelligence Node, and forge strategic partnerships with platforms like Salsify, Pacvue and Flywheel, to create a more robust and cohesive suite of commerce solutions for clients.

“Yaniv brings a unique perspective as a pioneer in applying machine learning and automation to commerce and as a former CEO of a publicly traded consumer goods company. Before joining Interpublic, Yaniv co-founded and served as CEO of Aterian, a technology-driven consumer goods company that built and scaled several multimillion-dollar brands using a marketplace-first strategy. At Aterian, he applied automation and machine learning to optimise everything from supply chain operations to digital marketing, helping the company emerge as a leader in the third-party seller ecosystem.
