The film/campaign 'I do it for' raises awareness for the willingness and access to SARS-CoV-2 vaccines worldwide. It is an independent campaign created by international filmmakers and shot in 12 countries.
Normal life as we knew it has become a distant memory, during the pandemic. And yet everybody wants it back. This can be achieved by herd immunity through vaccination. This effort is only possible together on both, a local and a global scale. It is important to realise that by saving ourselves, we save others and thereby the herd - and reclaim our lives in freedom.
The campaign shows people telling us in one sentence, why or for whom they get vaccinated. The sum of the reasons given, reminds us what is at stake. It spans from personal or family health, to economic future, to aspects like freedom, the survival of our favourite bar or our football club, travel, and so on. The list is long. The campaign explores that in social cosmoses, cities and countries, around the globe. The reason of one person leads us to the next person, telling us their reason. The film works like a torch relay, underlining the interconnectedness of our fates in this globalised community. The pro bono campaign was initiated by Picsters.tv without financial remuneration. No government. No Pharma industry. But individuals who think it's important - behind and in front of the camera.
The campaign invites everyone to share the video in social media and actively contribute by adding their very own personal reasons to do it.
Everybody has at least one good reason. Who will you do the covid vaccine for?
