Imaginary Forces, the multi-award winning creative studio, strengthens its team with the hiring Brittney Walker to lead Business Development.
Brittney, a highly experienced new business strategist, with an excellent track record in sales, joins from VFX and Creative Studio, Framestore’s West Coast base. An all-rounder she focused on sales for Live Action, Emerging Technology, VFX, Design and Rides. During her tenure she helped develop a client base that includes Google, Facebook, Apple, HP, Activision and Intel, to name but a few. Brittney will report directly to IF’s General Manager, Tiffani Manabat.
“Coming on board in January, I am still learning about IF’s extraordinary 24 year history and learned so much through the process of finding our way to Brittney. We knew exactly who we were looking for so this wasn’t about filling a seat. From our first chat, I was blown away by her thoughtful approach, even-keeled disposition and enthusiasm for the work.” Tiffani Manabat, general manager
Brittney said: “I am thrilled to be joining the team at Imaginary Forces. They have always been known to do extraordinary work with immense talent that really sits firmly in the cultural lexicon. It’s so exciting for me to work with the team and carry that same legacy forward. At this moment, the change is even more poignant to be joining a team led by Tiffani, a woman of colour, with a lengthy history and stellar reputation in our industry. My hopes for the future of IF is that we keep building a company that is reflective of the world around us and their commitment to diverse talent and encouraging creativity is a story I am happy to be a part of.”
The hiring of Brittney is the latest in a string of strategic hires over the last 6 months. Tiffani Manabat, herself was only brought on six months ago. An 18 year industry veteran, whose last position was as managing director for the US, at renowned VFX house, Electric Theatre Collective, and has worked across the spectrum from live action, post and VFX for some of the top studios in the business.
Recent months have also seen the hire of Melody Alexander as head of production. Another industry pro - the former head of production at Timber Industries, and prior to that holding senior positions at the global Post Production house, The Mill, both in London and LA.
