Hungry Man Directors Receive Oscar Nominations

Hungry Man are beyond excited that founder Bryan Buckley has had his short film Saria nominated for an Oscar in the Best Live Action Short Film category. 

The film depicts the story of the inseparable orphaned sisters, Saria and Ximena, who are fighting against daily abuse and unimaginable hardship at the Virgen de La Asuncion Safe Home in Guatemala, when a tragic fire claims the lives of 41 orphaned girls. 

The cast was comprised of girls from an orphanage in Mexico City. 

Also, Hungry Man's director Taika Waititi's film JoJo Rabbit has been nominated for DGA, WGA, PGA awards and six BAFTAs and Oscars.
