Huge, the global experience agency (NYSE: IPG), today announced Judith Hoogenboom as global chief strategy officer, effective immediately. Judith will report directly to Huge global chief executive officer Pete Stein and lead the agency’s clients across its 13 global offices. In this role, she will be responsible for leading the strategy discipline, partnering with Huge clients to accelerate growth and transformation, as well as building new strategic capabilities that help clients to future proof their business.
“Huge fuses strategy, powered by research and data, with design and technology to make what people love and transform businesses and I’m thrilled to be a part of the agency,” said Judith. “Throughout my three-decade career, I’ve helped organisations transform for new eras of growth and innovation.”
Huge has a broad mix of strategic capabilities designed to help clients drive new growth and become more nimble in the face of dramatic changes - regardless of industry. Whether clients are in need of a sharper purpose, new products and services, a product mindset, more culturally relevant communications or culture change, the Huge strategy team across the globe helps brands to adapt and future proof their business. By putting the agency’s clients’ customers at the centre of its strategies, Huge is able to co-create a better future.
With more than two decades of industry experience, Judith has worked at leading shops where she combined growth strategy, technology innovation, and human-centred design. Prior to joining Huge, over the last seven years, Judith has served extensively as senior advisor at SYPartners and led her own transformation consulting firm. During this time, she partnered with senior leaders at corporations such as IBM, Ancestry, Nike, Philips, and Viacom, to set vision and strategy, develop new brand and marketing communications platforms, build cultures of purpose, and design brand experiences that create new value.
Her career highlights include transforming IBM over two decades to thrive in new eras of innovation; developing an immersive co-creation environment to sell IBM Watson; enabling leaders at Philips HealthTech to bring innovation to market; galvanising the new Comcast Corporation through a unifying vision and corporate site; and building a digital studio from the ground-up for Studio Archetype in New York.
In addition to the above and throughout her career, Judith has worked with a range of leading Fortune 100 companies, including Samsung, HP, Citi, Fidelity, GE, American Express, United Airlines, AT&T, Sprint, as well as standouts in niche markets like TouchTunes, and high-growth technology startups like AppNexus.
Hoogenboom’s appointment comes on the heels of Fura Johannesdottir’s February appointment as global chief design officer. In addition to bolstering its global leadership roster this year, Huge has been recognised at every major award show in 2020 for work across all agency disciplines, including physical product, digital product and integrated marketing.
