Havas helia Appoints New Chief Data Officer
Customer engagement agency Havas helia has announced the appointment of Russell Marsh as its new Chief Data Officer.
Previously Global Data Officer at IPG Mediabrands, Marsh will be responsible for pushing helia’s automation agenda and integrating their wide range of media data to inform better targeting and buying. With over 20 years in the digital marketing industry, working with blue chip clients spanning across data and creative, Marsh’s experience includes Group Strategy Officer at RAPP (an Omnicom Direct Marketing agency), where he was responsible for leading innovation around data platforms such as Hadoop - bringing together CRM data and Media data, and Managing Director at Agency.com, a specialist digital agency that developed creative brand work for web, social and mobile platforms.
Marsh has sat on the Cannes Lions Creative Data Innovation awards as a judge, is a member of the IPA’s Digital Creative Council board. He is responsible for developing best practice across data creativity for i-Com’s data Creativity Awards board and is a member of their jury. Last, but in no ways least, Marsh works with PEX (Process Excellent Network) as an Advisory Board Member for big data and analytics and is a founding member of MIT, the international society of Chief Data Officers.
