Today Havas Creative U.S. has launched TRIPTIK, a brand strategy and culture consultancy firm.
The move further expands Havas' aim to be the most meaningful partner to the modern CMO and their brands. According to Havas U.S. Chairman and CEO Paul Marobella, “there are a few things that we think today’s CMOs and today’s brands are looking for in partners like us: creativity, culture and commerce and TRIPTIK was the perfect joint venture to offer this to our clients.”
The new CEO, Sam Hornsby, formerly managing partner of Flamingo New York, has been cited as understanding how brands need to live in a modern world and need to connect with the modern consumer. The team is stacked with strategic consultants that can live comfortably inside the creative culture at Havas and gets underneath creativity, culture and commerce in new and interesting ways that can drive better creative product, better product design, better innovation for Havas’ client partners. This team paired with the capabilities at Havas, can differentiate the agency from what’s happening in the marketplace.
The name came about because the team was inspired by the ‘rule of three,’ a universal phenomenon that speaks to the hidden patterns of human culture and psychology and is a guiding force in design.
TRIPTIK’s offerings include brand strategy; consumer, cultural and category market intelligence; trend understanding; innovation and ideation. In addition to working with brands and agencies, TRIPTIK will seek out “nontraditional” clients such as entrepreneurs, VC firms, social impact organisations and art institutions.
