Hail to the King? Brands and Agencies React to King Charles' Coronation

The coronation of King Charles III and his wife, Camilla, as king and queen of the United Kingdom and the other Commonwealth realms takes place on Saturday May 6th 2023, at Westminster Abbey.

As the first occasion putting a crown on a British ruler’s head in over 70 years, it’s a historic event that’s got brands around the world talking, whether in support and excitement or as a chance to make a wry jibe at the royal family.

Here’s a round-up of ways that brands and agencies have marked this moment:

The Times - The Wait Is Over

BBC Children in Need - The Royally Big Portrait

Pīkari - Pīkari Mai

Dogs Trust - Long Live King Charleses

The Or London - Anything’s Comemorative

The Big Help Out

Carlton Draught - The Keg Is Dead

Burger King - Mach Dein King
