Habitant Group Adds New Offices in Bogotà and Barcelona

After nine years of redefining service production in Mexico as a partner for most of the best production companies and brands in the world it was about time for Habitant Productions to open new destinations. Now you could contact Habitant to develop your productions in both Colombia and Spain. Both offices are up and running since the beginning of this year to both film and photography (and unscripted) content.

According to Habitant CEO Enrique Santos: “It’s been clear to us that Barcelona and Bogotá were the 2 best destinations to place our foreign offices. Both countries have strategic weight for different reasons”.

While Bogotá makes a great alternative destination to Mexico, average shooting day costs seem quite contained. Barcelona, on the other hand, is still the best spot in Europe if you come from the American market. Wide location range in a small territory, great lifestyle, great production overall.

Habitant has partnered up with well-known local production company owners in each country to open the new Habitant offices. “As they know the market better than anyone, this is the way to go as they also share the same values we do. This is the most important thing,” says Enrique. “It’s also great they understand creative production and what it is like to deal with clients and talent. This makes us empathetic with our partners when they come to shoot with us."

Habitant is a boutique independent service production company. Their work goes from Luxury, high-fashion, or automotive photography to some of the best international film ads for companies such as Stink, Canada, or Somesuch. With these new offices they will be able to spread their beliefs on green shooting or diversity while giving their clients new options in terms of production excellence.
