From ethereal soundscapes to funky fusions, we've sprinkled a touch of magic into every note. Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey, and we can't wait to take you on a sonic adventure you won't soon forget. Let's groove, shall we?
A Walk On Water - 'Walk with Us'
Agency: TBWA\Media Arts Lab LA x TBWA\Chiat\Day LA
Production: CURATOR Pictures
Director: Ryan R Browne
Post: a52 x Company 3
Editorial: WORK Editorial
Music: Mean Machine
Sound: Lime Studios
Winner of Best Film at the Patagonia Film Festival, this branded short film for A Walk On Water, a non-profit that provides surf therapy for special needs children. This was our very first job as a company and it was indeed a labor of love for a non-profit organisation we genuinely love. Composed over three days with our amazing friends at Media Arts Lab and Chiat LA. We love the sonic quality of the vintage synth and orchestral instruments mixed together.
Corona x Constellation Brands - 'Country Roads'
Agency: MullenLowe LA
Production: Habitant
Director: Leo Aguirre
Post: Rock Paper Scissors
Music: Mean Machine
We worked with the incredible team at MullenLowe US for almost a year to bring this concept to life. It was a fantastic ride, and we are so grateful to be a part of it. A beautiful vocal by Adrian Cota sits over the mariachi band and makes an unforgettable version of this famous John Denver song. This final version was recorded in Mexico City over two days. Viva Mejico!
Sonic Drive-In - 'SuperSONIC Double Stack Cheeseburger: Self-Employed'
Agency: Mother US
Production: Biscuit Filmworks
Director: Aaron Stoller
Post: SuperBloom
Music: Mean Machine
Sound: Lime Studios
This was a fun one to work on. We got to go all out and make a hair metal song for this entertaining campaign. We love the soaring vocals, the stacked guitars and the huge drums. It was recorded in LA with some amazingly talented friends and still makes us laugh.
Nike - 'Ishod Wair: What Are You Working On'
Agency x Production: Springhill Company
Director: Christian Sorensen Hansen
Music: Mean Machine
This was the first episode of our creative partnership with Springhill. This score perfectly exemplifies the collaboration between Springhill's creative and production teams and our composers. The ethereal soundscape is both haunting and beautiful. It includes an original song and sets the tone for the rest of the series, which we are still scoring now in its second season.
Grey Goose - 'Voilà! Now You See Me'
Agency: MullenLowe US
Production: Anonymous Content
Director: Autumn de Wilde
Post: Final Cut
Music: Mean Machine
Sound: Lime Studios
This is our latest work. The first in a series of whimsical spots with the amazing 'Autumn De Wilde' and our friends at MullenLowe. We were brought in early as we needed to choreograph the actors to the track on the set, so it was a new way to work. Autumn had a clear vision, and we were honoured to bring it to life. We recorded all the initial tracks in Los Angeles with a live band over four days, and returned after the shoot and post to make final tweaks and overdubs.
