Creative agency, Grey London, today announces two significant hires into its senior team. The new appointments are central to the agency’s plans to build on its multiple account wins this year while continuing to deliver award-winning creative work for its existing clients.
Monty Verdi joins the business as group creative director – with a remit to continually raise the bar when it comes to executing purposeful and effective campaigns.
Monty is an experienced creative leader, with a history of delivering high-quality work supporting global brand success for the likes of Lexus, Canon and Samsung. He has previously held roles at Leo Burnett, The & Partnership, Drum and VCCP. He joins Grey London from T&Pm, where he was creative director.
Grey London also welcomes Lindsay Macintyre as head of growth - bringing with her a proven track record of growing agencies across a broad spectrum of integrated, creative and media. Lindsay will report into managing director, Jonny Tennant-Price, working with the wider leadership team to promote Grey London to prospective clients. She has held new business roles at leading agencies, including Havas, VCCP, Edelman & WPP agency Mediacom.
“Welcoming Lindsay and Monty to Grey London will be instrumental in not only driving growth but also doubling down on creative excellence” commented Conrad Persons, president at Grey London. “Monty is a globally renowned talent who has been awarded across creative, design and social, and Lindsay has an impressive new business background having worked with some of the UK’s most coveted agencies. Attracting such first-class talent speaks to the strong culture at Grey, I look forward to working closely with them both.
“We talk about Grey as having the ‘Goldilocks’ effect – the hands-on energy of a start-up combined with the resources and scale of a network, and award-winning creativity at its heart. These strategic senior appointments play a vital role in us consolidating and building on that agency vision. We have enjoyed a banner year for new business wins this year – but we are ready for more.”
Lindsay said, “I’m incredibly excited to be joining such a high performing team at Grey London, with its 100% pitch record in 2024 and ambitious growth plans. I’m looking forward to taking the agency’s proposition to prospective clients and supercharging activity in 2025 and beyond”
Monty added, “My initial conversations with Conrad, Tarek and Jonny were some of the most refreshing discussions I’ve had in my career, so I felt this was an amazing opportunity. I’m really looking forward to building on the great creative work Grey London has already been delivering and offering my expertise”.
