Glenn Paton, Senior Producer at Bartle Bogle Hegarty, has been hired as Grey London’s first Head of Film.
His brief will be to further strengthen the agency’s creative output from a production perspective, procuring great directors and unearthing new talent as well as finding new ways of working to tackle unusual or challenging briefs across all media, not just TV. He will work closely with Chairman & CCO Nils Leonard and Jacqueline Dobrin, Head of Production, to whom he will report.
Jacqueline Dobrin said: “I’m always on the lookout for the best talent; people who can continually push our craft forward and help me build the best production department in London. Glenn is very highly regarded, he’s done some brilliant work at BBH and he’s fantastically well connected. He’ll be a huge asset.”
Glenn has produced many award winning ads including work for Tango, Weetabix, Robinsons, Yeo Valley, Audi and Lynx over the past five years at BBH. He most recently produced Waitrose’s Christmas ad and is currently directing his own short film through Academy Films, for which he raised over £20,000 on Kickstarter. Prior to BBH, he was at Lowe and Mother.
Glenn Paton added: “Grey London has really upped the ante creatively over the last couple of years. It’s going to be a really exciting place to work and I look forward to being part of the team.”
