Grand Central has announced the appointment of Jess Slaney as business development strategist.
Bringing a wealth of experience across post-production and agency roles, Jess has worked with industry-leading names such as Factory, Bubble TV, Pentland, and Mother.
Jess began her career in film and post-production before launching her own company, Cherry Media, which she successfully ran for over a decade. She then moved to Factory, where she played a key role in business development, expanding her expertise in audio post-production as part of the senior leadership team. Over the years, Jess has specialised in production consultancy, executive producing, and optimizing client relationships, workflow, and profitability. Most recently, she served as business director at Bubble TV in Soho.
Commenting on her new role, Jess said, “When I met Simon and David last year and heard their vision, ethos, and the steps they had taken to support their team, I knew I wanted to be part of it. It’s an incredibly exciting time for Grand Central! We have a new, experienced team brought in from top sound houses across London, all under one roof. It’s a new era, building on the legacy of Grand Central with fresh energy, new ways of working, and an unwavering commitment to creativity in these legendary studios.”
