100% renewable power supplier Good Energy has launched an ambitious re-brand with Creature, who were appointed in August last year.
The work includes a logo re-design and complete refresh of the brand’s identity and guidelines. The new identity is clear and confident and directly expresses Good Energy’s matter-of-fact, pragmatic tone, with a look and feel that maintains their charm and personality.
This follows the launch of a wider campaign ‘Just Be Good’ which aims to help take the brand to a wider audience, as they move towards being a company that is not just an energy provider. Targeting those who are already making every day changes to help the environment, and tackling the misconception that switching energy providers is an arduous and time-consuming process, it demonstrates that switching can be just as easy and helpful to the environment as cutting down on their use of plastic or riding a bike to work.
Interim marketing director, Paul Tavener, said: “This is a really important time for us as environmental issues and climate change are becoming an area of increased customer focus. Our new campaign is designed to show there are easy steps every eco-worrier can take to make a difference.”
Ben Middleton, CCO of Creature said: "Keep your eyes peeled for Good Energy, it's not just a brand that's going to save the planet, but it's going do it in style".
Michael Bow, designer at Creature added, “It is very exciting to create an original but contemporary design language within an ordinary market. This work will not only allow our client to compete with the major brands in the sector, but also set the standard and influence the behaviour of all power companies. It is also very motivating to be able to apply our thinking towards clients and projects that will genuinely make a positive difference to the community and world.”
