Getir, the pioneers of ultrafast grocery has unveiled its latest campaign celebrating the brand’s first-ever festive season in the UK. The joy filled campaign ‘Getir saves Christmas’ launches tonight on ITV and Channel 4.
Each year we put more and more into making Christmas absolutely perfect. However, no matter how good the preparation, sometimes it doesn’t always go to plan and Getir is there to save the day!
The campaign leads with two TV ads, where in one we see our lead character run out of chocolates and in the other they burn their Christmas pud. But thanks to Getir’s ultrafast delivery, Christmas is saved! They bring the joy by delivering replacement items fast, keeping the family’s festive plans on track.
Created by Getir’s lead creative agency Neverland, the aim is to grab the nation’s attention in the final run up to Christmas and remind people that with Getir, you’ve got it.
The integrated campaign launches tonight during Tipping Point and Greyson’s Art Club, and will run across radio, out of home (OOH), digital and social, as well as through a PR campaign celebrating Getir’s impact on the festive season.
Nicholas Casby, Getir UK head of marketing, says: “We’re excited to share our first ever Christmas campaign as the nation begins its final countdown towards the big day. We know all too well that this time of year is always a busy one, but our message is clear to all our customers – Getir is here as your trusty companion, helping to save the day and give you back precious time this Christmas. No matter what goes wrong in the kitchen, or which essentials you’ve forgotten, we’re open every day this season to ensure our customers can enjoy a Christmas worth remembering.”
Jon Forsyth, Neverland co-founder, adds: “Rounding off this year’s burst of festive advertising with a delivery of singing joy.”
Getir arrived in the UK earlier this year and now delivers across 15 cities and towns in the UK, including London, Birmingham, Manchester, Brighton, Cardiff and Southampton. Their recent acquisition of online grocery brand Weezy in November further accelerated their business growth and has solidified their position as the UK’s leading online grocery delivery company.
