Corus Entertainment, Lark Productions and CMT Canada bring audiences “Mom’s a Medium,” a 30-minute reality TV series about Alberta-based psychic medium Carmel Baird and her intriguing, mysterious and often times hilarious life - alongside her husband, their six children, and three grandchildren. To engage audiences, Corus and Lark tapped into Vancouver-based digital agency Pound & Grain to build the show’s interactive website where new and existing fans of the show are invited to enter Carmel’s “reading room” and experience a reading of their own.
The interactive website launched today, and visitors will quickly be entranced and engaged by a variety of medium-like experiences that are sure to fan the flame of intrigue about the other side.
Other modules in the experience that promise to excite users include an oracle card reading, messages for loved ones passed and other juicy extras. The site hosts elements of each week’s episode, pulling people into the intimate experience of readings, and enabling them to communicate with those who have passed. The readings allow viewers a deeper look into the show and even to become a part of the story. Following the show’s recent premiere, the interactive website provides a unique look into the world of a psychic medium.
