Ecologi, the subscription service supporting carbon offset projects and tree planting around the world, has launched its first TV campaign with COP26 Media Partner, Sky. The campaign airs on multiple Sky channels and marks the company’s debut activity with its new media agency, Electric Glue.
Ecologi’s campaign features its brand film, Seeds of Hope. Created by Enviral for Ecologi, this is a collaboration with award-winning spoken word performer, George The Poet. The film first aired in April and was nominated for Most Effective Use of Video in The Drum Awards for the Digital Industries. With a goal of reducing 50% of the world’s emissions by 2040, the film delivers a powerful message conveying how joining Ecologi’s movement can create a huge impact for the future of climate change.
The campaign launches ahead of COP26 in Glasgow. The annual UN Climate Change Conference will see global leaders coming together to “protect and restore ecosystems. build defences, warning systems and resilient infrastructure and agriculture to avoid loss of homes, livelihoods and even lives.”
Electric Glue CEO Pippa Glucklich says: “We’re delighted to have devised an effective media strategy to launch Ecologi’s first TV campaign on Sky. George and Enviral understand the importance of conveying a genuine, engaging narrative and we hope it will resonate with people, particularly now.”
Ecologi co-founder Ian Hambleton says: “There couldn’t be a more relevant time for us to communicate Ecologi’s important message. George is a true champion of sustainability and we believe the campaign will inspire viewers to take action.”
