While many brands will celebrate love this Valentine’s Day, one action will be inspired by what was left over from it. More precisely when love leaves, but the items left by ex-boyfriends and ex-girlfriends stay behind. On these occasions, when many people have no idea of what to do with those abandoned pieces, the circular fashion website Garimpário created a special section on its platform.
The initiative was launched as Ex-commerce, and enables people to sell and make money with items from their exes. “Often you end the relationship, but an object left behind keeps the other person alive, always present. Selling can help to exorcise you from your ex and still make some money”, said Laura Esteves, VP of creation at DM9.
The campaign also includes a video and other pieces that will be exhibited on the brand’s social media profiles. “The goal of the communication launched on February 14 is to increase traffic on the website and heat up a day that is not traditional on the Brazilian retail calendar”, said Emanuelle Lazzari, founder of the Garimpário website.
