Commercial director Ulf Johansson teams up with Halo Top’s for latest ‘Put Yourself On Top’ campaign. Ulf, famed for his work with iconic brands like Old Spice and Mountain Dew’s infamous ‘puppybabymonkey’ Superbowl commercial, has now turned his creative eye to ice cream and all the ways ‘self-care’ has become just one more to-do.
The new campaign from Halo Top - ‘Put Yourself On Top’ - is a fun and quirky reminder that while there are lots of priorities in life it is perfectly healthy, and encouraged, to occasionally set aside obligations to put yourself first. The omnichannel ad creative, concepted by Wolfgang, recognises and brings a sense of humour to the tireless effort people put into making themselves better, and gives them permission to ‘Put Yourself on Top’ once in a while.
The campaign features two new TV spots ‘Bike’ and ‘Treadmill’ both directed by Ulf which highlight precariously stacked priorities capped with the ultimate serenity of better-for-you frozen dessert - reminding the consumer that the best self-care is whatever brings you happiness.
Halo Top’s ‘Put Yourself on Top’ creative will be featured across TV, social and OOH throughout 2022 alongside on new product launches, including Halo Top’s first fruit-based Sorbet pints – with more to come ahead of summer.
