The team at Felt Music come in all shapes and sizes. We have old codgers who bang on about the good old days of punk and acid house, the young guns who think Kanye West is god, techno heads, classical musos, heavy metal freaks and Peruvian nose flute aficionados.
We have a plethora of different reference points in the office!
We thought it would be a good idea to allow Team Felt to cite their major musical influences, so each team member over the coming months will create a playlist of the tracks that really moulded them growing up. Music that formed their musical tastes.
First up is Head of Sync - Matt Kaleda.
Here's my playlist of tunes that really meant a lot to me growing up in the London suburbs (sorry its a bit long, it would’ve been longer if I had my way). From being a nipper right up until my early twenties, the formative years… Its kind of in chronological order and there's plenty I've missed out. Looking at the list, I'm surprised by the lack of ‘bands,’ I didn't discover guitars until later in life!
