Today, George Shelley, formerly of X Factor-famed boy band Union J, launches his new single, ‘Technicolour’. The singer and songwriter will be performing his new single this Saturday, 7th July, at Pride London at Trafalgar Square as part of the city’s annual celebrations of LGBTQ+ communities.
George, who is represented by M&C Saatchi Merlin, teamed up with Soho-based companies,
Touch Recordings, Yellow Boat Music and Dean Street Studios, to bring the single to life. ‘Technicolour’ was arranged by Yellow Boat Music's Philip Jewson and produced by Dean Street Studios' Alex Beitzke and Bradley Spence.
Yellow Boat Music’s Philip Jewson comments: “George wanted to keep the track upbeat, young and vibrant, so these were some of our key considerations. I was given the original track, I then started work on re-arranging it to add a fresh and current flavour. It was all a relatively quick process and fairly straightforward. George was really great to work with and we genuinely hope the track gives him the success he deserves. As long serving members of the Soho community, we’re proud to support George and really excited to get involved in another year of Pride celebrations!”
