Flying Fish Signs NZ Filmmaker Christine Jeffs
Flying Fish has signed acclaimed New Zealand filmmaker Christine Jeffs to its roster.

Jeffs brings with her a wealth of knowledge when it comes to emotive and
cinematic film making, long and short form. Her most notable work,
directing eloquent and charming 'Sunshine Cleaning' staring Emily Blunt,
Amy Adams and Alan Arkin, 'Sylvia' with Gwyneth Paltrow and Daniel
Craig and Christine's first feature "Rain" was selected for "Directors
Fortnight" at the Cannes International Film Festival. No NZ film has
been selected in this prestigious category since. "Rain" was sold
internationally and screened theatrically around the world, including a
US domestic release. It was selected for many international film
festivals including Sundance, Toronto, and was hailed by critics
worldwide.
Jeffs' most recent commercial work includes directing the latest BP campaigns with Ogilvy. She has won numerous advertising awards over the years including Cannes Lions.
