The global comms agency is also one of only ten agencies given the Gold CMS Award for retaining CMS for over 15 years

FleishmanHillard UK has achieved the PRCA‘s Communications Management Standard (CMS) accreditation - the hallmark of PR and communications excellence - for the eighteenth year.

For PR and communications consultancies, CMS combines elements of ISO 9001 quality management and Investors in People people management with criteria specific to PR and communications consultancy providing a robust framework for agencies to manage their reputation, and enhance credibility and performance. FleishmanHillard is one of only ten agencies given the Gold CMS Award for meeting the standard for over 15 years.

The nine core areas consultancies are scored on include:

  • Leadership & Communication
  • Business Planning
  • Business Improvement
  • Financial Management & Systems
  • Diversity
  • Client Satisfaction
  • Campaign Management
  • New Business
  • People Management

Renna Markson MPRCA, PRCA deputy director general and engagement director said of the achievement, “Congratulations to FleishmanHillard on their 18th year of achieving the Communications Management Standard (CMS), which recognises best practice across many aspects including campaign management, client satisfaction, leadership, and diversity. The agency’s retention of CMS demonstrates that their processes and strategies are operating ethically and transparently in addition to developing an open collaborative culture. As a Gold CMS Award holder, they are one of only ten agencies who have met the standard for over 15 years and sustained their commitment to excellence.”

Jim Donaldson, FleishmanHillard CEO UK and Middle East adds, “Achieving CMS accreditation each year is a mark of best practices within our organisation. It is proof that we have a well-run business with all the correct systems and processes in place to ensure continued agency-wide excellence to support our plans for growth. As priorities, our diversity practices are evaluated and shown to demonstrate best practice in diversity and equality when it comes to our recruitment processes and beyond. Client satisfaction is also scored so we can confidently say that we uphold recognised markers of quality assurance for client teams.

“Adhering to Communications Management Standard as an agency provides a framework for consistently improving internal processes, providing the highest quality of service to our clients and demonstrates to our own staff that we are committed to their ongoing personal development”.
