Fabio Freitas, who has been at FCB Brasil since 2016, when he arrived as media VP, will now head the newly created growth department as chief growth officer.
“As Chief Growth Officer, Fabio has the mission of finding new growth models for FCB, always employing a holistic perspective in order to involve the entire agency and create new value for our clients. Fabinho has always been a CGO, all that was missing was the title,” explains Ricardo John, FCB Brasil CEO and CCO.
The new department will focus on new growth models, developing differentiated partnerships and new approaches for acquisition and revenue generation. “Getting a few butterflies in your stomach and stepping out of your comfort zone is both challenging and stimulating. The mission of finding growth opportunities for our business is what motivates me the most; I will add value to the business and deliver what FCB expects,” comments Fabio.
Winner of the 2012 Caboré award, as well as two Media Lions at the Cannes Liuons Festival, Fábio began his career in 1997, as a trainee at Leo Burnett. In 2002, he joined Grupo de Mídia de São Paulo. In 2004, he became head of media, a position he held at such important agencies as Young & Rubicam, Grey, Africa and F/Nazca.
