Argentina

Snow season: Mid-June to October

Picture yourself amidst the awe-inspiring Andes Mountains, capturing the raw magnificence of Patagonia's snow-draped peaks. Argentina offers an abundance of diverse locations that effortlessly blend rugged landscapes with an unmistakable cinematic charm. From the vast expanses of the Pampas to the striking ice formations of Los Glaciares National Park, every frame tells a captivating story. 

Filming in Argentina offers a myriad of advantages. The country boasts a highly skilled local workforce, state-of-the-art production facilities, and well-established production service companies that ensure smooth operations throughout your shoot.

Locations:

Las Leñas: This is one of the most popular ski resorts in Argentina, and it's easy to see why. Las Leñas has some of the best terrain in the country, with steep slopes, deep powder, and plenty of backcountry options.

Cerro Catedral: This world-class ski resort is located in the beautiful Bariloche region. Cerro Catedral has a wide variety of terrain for all levels, and it's also a great place to go for winter hiking and snowshoeing.

Cerro Castor: Located in the Tierra del Fuego region, this is the southernmost ski resort in the world. Cerro Castor is known for its stunning views of the Beagle Channel, as well as being a great spot for skiing, snowboarding, and cross-country skiing.

Penitentes: This is a smaller ski resort, but it still offers great slopes for skiing and snowboarding. Penitentes is located in the Mendoza region, and it's known for its challenging terrain and its proximity to the Aconcagua mountain.

Caviahue: This is a more remote ski resort, but it's worth the trip. Caviahue is located in the Neuquén region, and it's known for its volcanic scenery and its excellent powder snow.

Chile

Snow season: June to September

Nevados de Chillán: This is the place to be if you’re looking for great skiing and snowboarding in the Southern Andes. Nevados de Chillán has a wide variety of terrain, including volcanoes, glaciers, and forests.

Antillanca: Antillanca is known for its stunning views of the Puyehue-Cordón Caulle volcanoes, and offers great skiing and snowboarding in the Lake District.

Futaleufú: This is a great destination for backcountry skiing and snowboarding in Patagonia. Futaleufú is known for its wild and rugged terrain, and its proximity to the Nahuel Huapi National Park.

Switzerland

Snow season: December to April

Zermatt: This is one of the most iconic ski resorts in the world, and it's easy to see why. Zermatt is located in the shadow of the Matterhorn, and it offers some of the most stunning views in the Alps.

Verbier: This is another world-class ski resort in Switzerland, known for its varied terrain and its vibrant après-ski scene. Verbier is also a great place to go for other winter activities, including hiking and biking.

Grindelwald: This charming village is located in the Bernese Oberland, and it's a great destination for skiing, snowboarding, and hiking. Grindelwald is also a great base for exploring the Jungfraujoch, which is one of the highest peaks in the Alps.

Laax: With beautiful spaces for freestyle skiing and snowboarding, this is a great place to include on your next trip. Laax has a number of world-class parks and rails, and offers great spaces for hiking and biking.
