Experience “Kissing” Internet Week Europe 7 November - 11 November

unit9 are delighted to announce that the interactive installation "Kissing" by Tango&Hawaii will run on the unit9 windows as part of the Internet Week Europe.

"Kissing" was borne out of an experiment with voice controlled video, creating an emotionally charged and intimate moment within an interactive context. The result is public and yet speaks to the individual.

A moment which can be experienced as a group but evokes different responses in all of us. Experience "Kissing":

Tango & Hawaii is a collaborative project by unit9ers' Luciano Foglia and Anrick Bregman. They create sound and visuals that explore the interplay between the randomised mathematical unpredictability of code and the tangible textures and nuances of real life.

LUCIANO is a multidisciplinary visual artist based in the United Kingdom. He has been working in the design industry for over ten years focusing on interactive design, code based animations and music. He is familiar with random results and auto generative beauty, style that can be seen in all his work of digital art and installations. ANRICK is an interactive director. He creates commercial and experimental content for the browser and the smart phone, built on a dialogue between the viewer and the story. He is challenged by the idea of creating digital content which is experienced, not just browsed. They spoke at OFFF2011 in Barcelona this year and exhibited their work at the Hackney Wicked festival in East London, and at the Magdalena Festival in Slovenia in 2010.
