On the heels of launching a West Coast outpost, bicoastal creative studio Eskimo has signed director Kevin Castanheira to its curated group of versatile talent.
Castanheira joins the studio as an established commercial talent with roots in the snowboarding and action sports film industries. In recent years, he’s switched edges, carving a name for himself in the worlds of fashion and music. Castanheira has worked on successful campaigns for brands such as Free People, RCA Records, Burton Snowboards and Red Bull.
“We’re excited to bring Kevin on board. His work is infused with a uniquely strong sense of style – he will surely bring a fresh perspective to our existing client base, and will help us break into new markets,” says Eskimo Founder Terry Rayment.
Castanheira will add value to the team by further strengthening its offering for long-term clients and existing agency partners like Steelcase, Deloitte and Lincoln, but will also bring a highly stylized approach to the company, specializing in artistic and fashion-forward content for the studio’s corporate and tech industry clients.
With the addition of Castanheira and new West Coast digs, Eskimo is expanding rapidly, yet organically — not just in headcount, but also in its creative prowess and position within the advertising industry. The company recently created a captivating brand video for cutting-edge furniture manufacturer Turnstone, featuring a beautifully-constructed flow of scenes with an artistic take on furniture and its role in our professional and creative lives.
