Erich & Kallman, the independent creative agency and 2024 Ad Age Small Agency of the Year, is landing a new comedy-infused festival lounge “The Othership” at SXSW 2025, conveniently located at the agency’s Austin office on 6th Street. The spot will be an open house for festival-goers in need of a pit-stop—whether to relax, recharge, or connect with industry leaders in panels moderated by ADWEEK senior editor Terry Stanley.
Following the launch of its Austin office last year, Erich & Kallman is embracing its signature comedic edge at SXSW, blending creativity, humor, and hospitality to create an immersive, yet low-pressure experience.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming festival attendees and industry peers into our new home base,” said Eric Kallman, co-founder and chief creative officer at Erich & Kallman. “Since we launched our Austin office last year, we’ve been excited to contribute to SXSW and connect with Austin’s culture in new ways.”
The Othership is for those seeking an escape from the SXSW chaos and a space to take meetings, trade ideas, and unwind. Guests can enjoy coffee, breakfast, lunch, casual programming, and afternoon happy hours. The bar will be provided courtesy of Empress 1908 Gin, an Erich & Kallman client.
On March 10th, the agency will host a panel series in partnership with Stanley, who’ll chat with speakers from The Hershey Company, AG1, Consumer Cellular, Rocket Companies, and more. Discussions will explore the future of branding, creativity, and consumer engagement. Fully branded by the creative shop, “The Othership” also features an original logo, signage, and collectible merch.
The Erich & Kallman event, which joins a celebrated line of local agencies opening their doors to SXSW guests, will unfold across the two days with the following schedule:
Monday, March 10th
Tuesday, March 11
