Film and advertising made an appointment in the arena of the Roman Colosseum, for an epic battle between an experienced fighter of that time and jorge@14, a contemporary young man from Mexico.
The content film was created by Mexico City Isla Agency and was directed by Nicolás Pérez Veiga from Mexico City Primo production company.
Under the concept of “There will always be New Heroes”, the brand Emperador invites the audience to savour the sweet taste of victory and become contemporary heroes, by participating in their new special offer with epic prizes.
This campaign is part of the brand’s back to the basics, with the return of the guards to the big screen.
“Together with the brand’s team, we were looking for the perfect opportunity to give Emperador back the impact and irreverence it had in the past. Alongside Primo, we created a strong film with many elements from Hollywood’s period movies, but with the brand’s humor DNA”, said Ariel Serkin and Rodrigo Grau, CCO´s and co- founders of Isla Agency.
“It has always been Emperador’s goal to empower young people, and with this campaign we have sought to connect with “new heroes”, those generations leading change today. We wanted to make our brand relevant in their world, and undoubtedly, along with Isla and Nico, we were able to create a powerful campaign” said Daniel Díaz, brand director.
“It was undoubtedly one of the most exciting and challenging projects we have worked on. The truth is that Gonza, Dany, Adriana, and the entire brand team had a very clear idea of what they were looking for, and that helped us a lot to find the story of our new hero.
