Effie UK teamed up with POD LDN, the global post-production company, to create a set of film assets for the 2024 Effie Awards UK Gala, which took place on November 19 in London.
The brief was to set the mood for the ceremony while reflecting Effie’s purpose – to champion and celebrate effective marketing. POD LDN created a series of videos focused on the work; a montage film for the Gold-winning campaigns; a montage film of all the Silver winners, and another featuring the work awarded Bronze trophies; along with a 90-second montage featuring all 52 campaigns nominated as finalists.
It is the second year running that POD LDN has worked with Effie UK on its awards gala. This time, the work involved an expanded brief that included a talking heads film, to be shown on Effie’s social channels after the event, in which members of the awards jury share their thoughts on the Grand Effie-award winning campaign by Ikea UK and Mother.
