Back to school is a crazy time of year for families. So this Fall, Johnsonville is arming parents with a resource for easy sausage dinner ideas. Introducing “The Sausage Support Center,” a direct line to the sausage experts in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin launching today.
This next chapter of the “Made The Johnsonville Way” campaign continues to put the company’s employees at the forefront of its marketing. There are no generic recipes or scripted telephone operators when you call The Sausage Support Center. It’ll be the real people who actually make - and cook with - sausage. They’ll be giving callers advice on what to make for dinner, as well as talking about whatever else comes up. It could anything from football to fishing.
People can call The Sausage Support Center by dialing 844-9-SAUSAGE. The actual call center will be staffed by Johnsonville Members for three dates: Wed., Sept. 28, Thurs., Sept. 29 and Fri., Sept. 30, between 8 am and 8 pm Central Time. In off hours, a special phone tree will offer sausage recipes and entertaining stories from Johnsonville members, to make sure callers aren’t left hanging. Even one of Johnsonville's retail customers - Pick and Save in Appleton, Wis. - is providing a rotary-dial phone in its meat aisle, hoping to help its shoppers with sausage meal ideas in-the-moment.
To launch the activation, Droga5 created a series of films that introduce a few of the employees who will be answering phone calls. You might get to talk with Tammy, who loves photography and dog training, Mark, who has over 10,000 comic books, or Bob, who once wrestled a bear at a South Dakota county fair.
The Johnsonville members (employees) also created a few sausage-y jingles for the call center, which will be running on Pandora and Johnsonville’s social channels. Check out the making of those jingles by viewing the links below:
The Sausage Support Center reminds the world that sausage isn’t just for grilling. It can be the answer to your everyday cooking needs too. A quick call to 844-9-SAUSAGE, and your next family dinner could be Made the Johnsonville Way.
