When a car travels at 100kmh, 60% of its engine’s power is used to overcome wind resistance. So rather than looking to overpower wind resistance with brute force, Honda decided to outsmart it when designing the all-new Civic Hatch. The result is a sleek, stylish and aerodynamic design that manages airflow around the car delivering better fuel efficiency, greater stability at high speeds and an amazingly quiet drive.
To demonstrate this, Draftfcb Australia created a new TVC called ‘Parachutes”. In a stylish, hyper-real world where every moving object is restricted by a parachute, the eye-catching Honda Civic Hatch glides through the city with an unrestricted sense of ease.
Honda Australia Marketing Manager, Mr. Kevin Lillie, is excited about Honda’s new spot.
“With the Civic Hatch, Honda has created an incredibly stylish solution to wind resistance. In conjunction with Draftfcb, we have created a TV spot that talks about it in a similarly stylish way. And a big thank you has to go to The Sweet Shop and FuelVFX, in particular, who helped create such a magical world”, Mr Lillie said.
