Independent marketing agency Dotted Line, one of the 2022 Inc. 5000 fastest-growing private companies in the US, has hired ad agency veteran creative leader Jonathan Goldberg as executive creative director. Jonathan is the first to hold the ECD position at Dotted Line and brings 25 years of industry experience building some of the world’s best-known brands, including Citi, FedEx, AT&T, General Mills, Pfizer and more.
Jonathan reports directly to Lauren Sweeney, founder and CEO of Dotted Line. He joins Dotted Line’s executive leadership team, which includes Lauren; Marci Schnur, managing director of client services; and Emily Shane, strategy director.

Prior to Dotted Line, Jonathan held creative leadership roles at various ad agencies including Ogilvy DC, The Burns Group, and Publicis NY. For six years, he was owner and creative director at A For Adventure, a design and brand strategy agency that he founded in 2013. Jonathan’s work has been recognised by the Clios, Addy’s, AIGA, Lürzer’s Archive, and the Richmond Ad Club.
“I have a clear mandate and mission to up the creative here at Dotted Line, and am being supported at all levels, which feels great,” Jonathan said. “I’m a builder and naturally gravitate toward opportunities where I can make a direct impact. The agency has an amazing foundation for its culture, talent, and work, and I’m excited to build on that and help take it to the next level.”
Dotted Line has also expanded its team with two additional hires: Matt Suttmiller, associate account director, and Nadia Hyder, associate strategy director.
