As interest in running has steadily grown, so too has the popularity of the Guardian Running Blog - an online blog and community (set up by Life and Style editor Kate Carter) for like minded runners to discuss topics and share tips with one another. The blog itself was expanding into more of an online hub where users could access podcasts, playlists, personal running data alongside the expert tips and advice. The objective of our campaign was simple: promote the new running hub and invite people to register.
Running makes us feel good! It brings a little bit of joy to run through a park listening to your favourite tune or to beat your personal best. Sure, there's a fair amount of pain too but by and large, most of us run because we love it. And who better to remind us of how running is meant to make you feel than the most joyful runners of all....dogs! They don't care where they're going or why their going there, they run until their legs are tired for the sheer joy of it. Through some joyful pictures of dogs having the time of their lives running for the sheer thrill of it, we simply asked "Shouldn't your run be this much fun?".
