DigitasLBi Appoints Elizabeth Murphy as SVP, Media
DigitasLBi today announces the appointment of Elizabeth Murphy as SVP, Media. Murphy will be based in New York and report to Adam Shlachter, Chief Investment Officer.
In this role, Elizabeth will lead all media initiatives, driving cross-channel solutions across multiple clients as well as supporting New Business initiatives for the agency.
"Elizabeth is a media rock star. She has developed innovative, results driven, award-winning solutions for a wide range of clients, and we're thrilled to have her join our team," says Shlachter.
An industry veteran with over 15 years of strategic media and account leadership experience, Murphy joins DigitasLBi from Mindshare, where she served as Executive Director. Elizabeth's work has been recognized through multiple industry awards, including a Cannes Media Lion for GSK's Aquafresh toothpaste campaign, and a Silver Effie for Pepperidge Farm's Goldfish crackers campaign.
Prior to Mindshare, she was first a group account director at PHD before being elevated to global strategy director there; at MEC Elizabeth was a Senior Partner and Communication Strategy Director from 2005-2011, and before that was VP, Account Director at MPG, where she managed multiple accounts, including Comedy Central, Starz/Encore, and Radio City Music Hall. Murphy began her career at Messner Vetere Berger McNamee Schmetterer/Euro RSCG and TBWA\Chiat\Day, where she was an Associate Media Director for Volvo, and a media planner for Nissan, respectively.
